Oud Sultan Wenge Padauk

Advanced model from Turkey made by Sultan. This oud is an excellent model for all players looking for a powerful, warm and resonant sound associated with excellent quality finishes, its body is made of wenge and padouk wood, its table is made of specially selected Canadian red cedar, its fingerboard is made of ebony and its pegs are made of rosewood. The sound is particularly round with excellent resonance and responsiveness.

The oud comes with a lightly padded cover, as well as 3 rishas (plectrums).

Important: The oud comes standard with 11 strings and is tuned in low Arabic tuning: do, sol, re, La, Fa, Do. You can tune it in Turkish without changing strings and we invite you to order a Labella Arabic Tuning set if you want Arabic tuning in F.
