Oud Tarablic Al Rawi

This oud is a very good model of Tarablic in the Iraqi style made by the luthier Khaled Halabi in Canada. Its design offers short sustain notes and ease of play high on the fingerboard (in the treble) while generating a clear and warm sound. All these features are necessary to support the complex melodies appreciated by soloists. The oud comes with a padded bag and 3 rishas.

Luthier Khaled Halabi comes from a lineage of luthiers in Syria, he now makes his ouds in Canada and draws inspiration from Middle Eastern know-how, as well as new Western manufacturing techniques in order to make good quality ouds with a typical oriental sound but with modern finishes.
