Oud Mahmud Mostafa Eagle Rosewood
This beautiful oud was made in 2013 by the Egyptian luthier Mahmoud Mostafa.
This musical instrument has a very elegant sound, dark and pure at the same time, with very powerful bass and open treble. Its bowl is composed of 17 Indian rosewood ribs specially selected (40 years old), its table is in spruce, its ebony fingerboard is covered with sublime inlays of mother-of-pearl and the pegs are in rosewood. A lot of work has been done on the soundboard to obtain a magnificent result with sumptuous Nahat style rosettes surrounded by mother-of-pearl fragments. The neck is made of Indian rosewood and sycamore with very nice patterns.
