Oud Strings Nile Strings

Nile Strings are very good oud strings from Egypt. This set is made up of 12 strings and is suitable for high Arabic tuning (F to F).

Our opinion: Nile Strings have an extremely dry sound, typical of the old-fashioned purely oriental sound. The G string is thicker than on most other brands, which gives it a fairly soft but slightly muffled sound. String tension is normal, break-in time is about 7 days.
